How does it work ? |
| Since each Bio-Kult capsule contains 2 billion colony forming units (CFUs), it means that it can deliver a higher concentrated dose of good bacteria into your body helping it to maintain a strong immune system and healthy digestive system. |
The Bio-Kult capsules are covered in a protective coating during freeze drying, which gives two main benefits. Since the capsules are coated, they are protected from the inhospitable acid environment of the stomach, and therefore are able to pass along to the intestines where they can be of most benefit. Bio-Kult can also be stored at room temperature without the need for refrigeration. |
| Bio-Kult can be taken two ways and comes in a simple vegetable capsule. It can either be swallowed whole or broken open and mixed with food/drink. To help maintain a healthy digestive and immune system we recommend that you take 1-2 capsules twice daily with food. If you are taking Bio-Kult with antibiotics we recommend a double dose taken separately from the antibiotic, preferably at opposite ends of the day, or at least 3 hours after the antibiotic. After finishing the course of antibiotics, continue taking Bio-Kult for at least 2 weeks. |
| Bio-Kult is completely safe, has no contraindications and carries no risk of overdose. If taking 2 or more capsules daily, divide daily dose in 2. For under 12s take half the adult dose. Take two capsules daily for one week before travel. Increase to four capsules daily during travel. Continue to take for at least 2 weeks following end of travel. If taking anti-malarials continue for at least 2 weeks after completion of the course. |
